I've known Scott Anez for nearly 5 years, which is nearly 5 years too long. Back when I was an intern, fresh out of journalism school and trying to break into sports broadcasting, I knew I had a long road ahead. There were times back then when I doubted if I had what it took to make it. The outlook was bleak, but I persevered because of Scott Anez.
